Dutch actresses Halina Reijn and Carice van Houten’s new drama Red Light, co-written by Esther, is among 10 upcoming series due to compete in the third edition of Canneseries which is taking place from October 9 to 14.

Red Light is the latest production from Reijn and van Houten’s production company Man Up, which previously produced their erotic thriller Instinct. The pair co-star alongside Maaike Neuville as three women whose lives are shaped by their involvement in the world of prostitution and sex trafficking.
